Meet Anastasia

A life rewritten
in the margins.

My name is Anastasia Patience Christodoulou. I am a daughter of Ghana, a woman of Cyprus, a mother by miracle, and a storyteller by calling. This is the long version.

The chapters

Every season taught me something.

Chapter 01
The beginning

Ghana

I was born the only daughter among six children in a warm, faith-filled home. My mother taught me to pray. My father taught me to work. The dust of Accra taught me how to dream.

Chapter 02
The crossing

Cyprus

At nineteen, I boarded a plane with two suitcases and a promise. I would build a life. I would send money home. I would become someone.

Chapter 03
The work

Caregiver

For years I cared for the elderly. Their stories became mine. Their loneliness taught me presence. Their courage taught me endurance.

Chapter 04
The first loss

My brother

When my younger brother died, something inside me broke that I didn't know could break. I learned that grief has weather. Some days it rains and rains and doesn't stop.

Chapter 05
The second and third

My father, then my mother

Losing my father broke my compass. Losing my mother, two years later, unmoored me. I was the daughter without parents. I had to become my own.

Chapter 06
The choice

The pregnancy

The doctors said terminate. There were risks. There were reasons. There were papers to sign. I chose faith. I chose him. His name would become my miracle.

Chapter 07
The miracle

My son

He came into this world small and perfect and stubborn — like his mother. He is the reason I know God still writes stories with impossible endings.

Chapter 08
The dark room

Depression

Postpartum depression came like a fog with no exit. I stopped smiling. I stopped writing. I stopped believing I was still in there. Slowly, gently, I found my way back.

Chapter 09
Now

Author & founder

I write the books I needed. I teach the classes I wished I had. Patience Media House is my letter to every woman who ever felt too broken to begin again.

My mission

To hand every woman a lantern for the dark seasons — and a map to build a life she loves once the light returns.

I believe every scar is a syllabus. Every mother is a mystic. Every ordinary woman carries something the world desperately needs — usually the exact thing she thinks disqualifies her.

What I stand on

Five values, one calling.

01
Faith

Faith is the muscle I train first, every morning.

02
Resilience

Not the loud kind. The quiet, unglamorous, keep-going kind.

03
Purpose

Every scar is a syllabus. I teach what I've lived.

04
Story

Stories heal what statistics can't reach.

05
Service

If it doesn't help someone rise, I don't build it.
